2002 Stella Bella Semillon Sauvignon Blanc

This is the second label from premium Margaret River producer, Suckfizzle. Bright deep straw colour. The nose is distinctive with its aroma of aniseed over a grassy, herbaceous, gooseberry background. The palate has good weight and a very crisp acid backbone. On the palate, the vegetative flavours are dominant, followed by a dusty, herbaceous layer which runs well into the aftertaste.
Cellar 2-3 years. (2004-2005)
