Bright, pale straw colour. Aroma of hazelnut, yeast lees, cashew and spice. The palate is dominated by a butterscotch flavour which is meshed with toasted oak, cashew and lees. The palate is simpler in structure than the nose suggests and is followed by a strong citrus and grapefruit aftertaste.
