2002 Robinvale Wines Organic Origins Chardonnay Chenin Blanc Sauvignon Blanc

What a difference a year makes! This wine has depth and flavour unlike its weak 2003 cousin. Bright pale gold colour with straw hue. Aroma of baked apple, followed by a hint of confectionary, gooseberry and tropical fruit. The palate flavours are developing well with baked apple, spice, tropical fruit and gooseberry evident. The acidity is holding up. Aftertaste of gooseberry and tropical fruit.

First tasted, October 2004:
A biodynamic wine. Brilliant straw colour with pale straw hue. Exotic nose of tropical fruit, baked apple, green apple, confectionary and green tea. The palate is full bodied, just a touch broad, with flavours of baked apple, green apple and tropical fruit. Soft acid finish. Aftertaste of baked apple, green apple, tropical fruit and lemon.
