Cellar: 3 - 4 Years (2008-2009)

The colour is promising, however, the flavour profile lets this wine down. Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of mint and cassis followed by a touch of tea leaf and cedar. The palate reveals a stewed fruit flavour followed by a touch of plum, however, the dry chalky tannins tend to override the fruit and dominate the wine through to the aftertaste.
Cellar 3-4 years (2008-2009)
Alc/Vol: 13.5%

First tasted, July 2004:
Totally black colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of spice, earth and blackcurrant followed by a hint of mint. On the palate, blackcurrant, mint and spice flavours emerge, supported by fine, dry tannins which are persistent. The structure is very tight at the moment and will integrate given time.
