Very deep black brick red colour with brick red hue, showing considerable development. Aroma of spiced cedar, vanilla and confectionary, over a toasted oak background. Stewed fruit palate with flavours of spice. Fine dryish tannins. Aftertaste of stewed fruit, spice and cedar. This wine is at its peak.

First Tasted 23rd October, 2007;
Very deep brick red crimson colour with crimson brick red hue. Top note of spice, followed by plum, stewed fruit and old leather. The palate delivers flavours of stewed fruit, plum and spice followed by vanilla and just a touch of leather. Soft tannins. Aftertaste of plum, spice, vanilla and stewed fruit.
