2002 Redesdale Estate Cabernets

An outstanding Cabernets from Heathcote – Opaque black crimson colour with deep crimson hue. The nose is delicately perfumed. Aroma of blackcurrant, liquorice all sorts, spice and cedar, followed by a hint of prune and toasted oak. The palate has weight with plenty of ripe fruit flavours – the blackcurrant and liquorice re-emerge, followed by spice and cedar. Fine grained tannins, perfectly balanced. Very long aftertaste of spice, dark chocolate, blackcurrant and cedar.
