2002 Pirramimma Reserve Shiraz

This is a big red as expected from the 2002 vintage, however, it fails to grab the imagination like the 2001 vintage managed to do. Opaque black crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of vanilla, confectionary, violets, spice, blackberry and dark chocolate. The palate is full bodied but lacks complexity, which time may bring about. Fine grained tannins. Flavours of vanilla, confectionary, stewed plum and spice which roll into the aftertaste.
