2002 Peter Lehmann Mentor

This wine has been made from a blend of 69% Cabernet, 13% Merlot, 10% Shiraz and 6% Malbec.
Very deep, almost opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. Perfumed nose, with violet top note, followed by vanilla, spice, cedar and confectionary. The palate is driven by the Cabernet component delivering flavours of blackcurrant, cedar and cigar box with just a faint trace of tea leaf. Fine grained tannins. Long aftertaste of blackcurrant, cedar and cigar box.
