2002 Penley Estate Phoenix Cabernet Sauvignon

A Coonawarra Cabernet showing an elegance of style that will appeal to wine lovers who feel jaded with blockbuster Shiraz wines. Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of musk, cedar, spice, blackcurrant and cigar box. The palate has excellent fruit flavours – all of which are fully ripe. Musk, cedar and blackcurrant palate flavours are over layered by a spicy background. Fine grained tannins, perfect balance. Very long aftertaste of cedar, spice and blackcurrant.
