The Shiraz for this wine has been grown in Paxton’s Jones Block. Opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. Aroma of vanilla and liquorice, followed by toasted oak ripe plum and blackberry. The palate has that classic McLaren Vale ‘joosy’ quality with flavours of vanilla, plum and spice over a blackberry background. Fine grained, perfectly balanced tannins. Aftertaste of spice, blackberry, plum and liquorice.
