2002 Palandri Baldivis Estate Chardonnay

A well made Commercial wine. Youthful pale straw colour. Grassy herbaceous nose, more reminiscent of Sauvignon Blanc than Chardonnay with a gooseberry and tropical fruit end note. The palate flavours are simple with spice, peach and tropical fruit characteristics emerging. Clean acid finish followed by an aftertaste of peach, cinnamon and tropical fruit.
