"Possibly the best Ninth Island Pinot to date, driven by generous primary fruit flavours. "color>

Outstanding depth of colour for Pinot with very deep crimson mauve. The nose displays ripe primary fruit notes of spiced ripe strawberry followed by a raspberry end note with just a touch of strawberry jam. The palate has very good weight with strawberry jam and spice flavours dominant with a hint of aniseed on the back palate. Moderate length. Soft tannin structure followed by a long strawberry, aniseed and spice aftertaste.
