2002 Mount Langi Ghiran Riesling

Great Western, Victoria, AUSTRALIA
$17. 99
Bottle
$215.88 Dozen
Closure: Cork

This wine misses a beat, if one compares it to the exceptional 2001 vintage. Bright straw colour. The nose is impressive but without the power expected from a 2002. Notes of lime, rosepetal and ripe pears emerge. The palate has weight, but not exceptional concentration. Flavours of lime, citrus and pear emerge. Crisp acid finish, followed by a lime, citrus aftertaste.
