2002 Moondah Brook Cabernet Sauvignon

Very deep crimson colour with crimson brick red hue. Aroma of blackcurrant, cedar and spice followed by a hint of chocolate showing good varietal character. Flavour of plum and stewed fruit, over a blackcurrant background. Fine, quite dry tannins with some stalky characteristics emerging. Aftertaste of blackcurrant and cedar with dry tannins persisting.
