2002 Miranda Mirrool Creek Chardonnay

Miranda seem to have got the formula right with their Mirrool Creek range consistently producing excellent flavour filled quaffing wines at rock-bottom prices.

A variety of fermentation techniques were used to add complexity to this Chardonnay with some parcels of fruit fermented in tank and others in French & American oak. Light pale straw colour. Aromas of peach, tropical fruit and melon with spice and vanilla as end notes. The palate is very fruit driven displaying melon, peach and tropical fruit flavours. Excellent mouthfeel and palate weight with clean crisp finish and tropical fruit and spice aftertaste. Yet another quaffing success from Mirrool Creek and excellent value for money.
