The 2002 Lawson’s Dry Hills Gewürztraminer does not have the power of the previous vintages, however, it does still display strong varietal characters. Bright straw colour, delicate aroma of lychee and spice followed by notes of tropical fruit and loquat. The palate flavours are quite spicy and mouth filling, with the flavours of ripe lychee to the fore. There is a hint of residual sweetness. Velvet mouth feel. Crisp acid finish, followed by an aftertaste of lychee and spice. Cellar 1-2 years (2003-2004) Alc/Vol 14.5%
