2002 Laurent Miquel Nord Sud Syrah

A full bodied red, but without the voluptuous character that is associated with Australian Shiraz. Very deep crimson colour, with crimson mauve hue. Aroma of liquorice, mocca, spice, plum and cedar. The palate structure is forward, with fine grained tannins overlaid with liquorice, plum and cedar flavours. Very easy drinking, with aftertaste of spice, plum and liquorice.
