2002 Laurent Miquel Cabernet Syrah

A very well made red, suitable for short term cellaring –or enjoying now. Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of spice and confectionary, followed by hints of cedar and blackcurrant. The palate has impressive weight, with flavours of spice, cedar, blackcurrant and chocolate emerging. Fine grained tannins, excellent balance, followed by aftertaste of cedar, liquorice, spice and blackcurrant.
