Fading brick red colour. Medium body. Aroma of stewed fruit, leather and cedar. The freshness has gone. Again on the palate the fruit flavours have faded. Stewed fruit and leather emerge. Soft tannins. Some coarseness on the back palate. Stewed fruit and cedar aftertaste.Drink (2007)Alc/Vol: 14.5%

Second tasting, July 2005:
Bright crimson colour crimson hue. Medium body. Aroma of violets, spice and mulberry. The palate has good weight with mulberry, spice flavours emerging followed by a hint of chocolate. Soft tannins. Aftertaste of mulberry, spice, chocolate and a touch of stalk.

First tasted, March 2004:
Deep crimson brick red colour. Aroma of mulberry, spice and blackcurrant with a touch of dark chocolate emerging. On the palate the mulberry/blackberry flavours emerge followed by mocca and spice. Fine grained soft tannins. Aftertaste of mulberry, spice, mocca and blackcurrant.
