2002 Kingston Estate Echelon Petit Verdot

Bright brick red colour with crimson brick red hue. Medium hue. The nose delivers some old leather notes, followed by prune and stewed fruit. The palate is more assertive than Petit Verdot is generally. Flavours of stewed fruit, old leather and black cherry emerge, with just a touch of vanilla. Soft tannins. The wine is at its peak. Aftertaste of old leather and stewed fruit.
