2002 Kim Crawford Unoaked Chardonnay

The juice for this wine has been oxidatively handled with cool fermentation and a malolactic ferment to reduce the acidity. Bright straw colour with greenish hue. The nose is quite subtle, with hints of butterscotch, spice and tropical fruit. Flavours of tropical fruit and peach are dominant followed by a grapefruit/lemon back palate flavour. Soft acid finish, followed by an aftertaste of peach, spice and butterscotch.
