2002 Kathy Lynskey Wines Wairau Peak Chardonnay

Bright straw colour. The nose is very impressive with distinctive barrel ferment quality. Aroma of biscuit, toasted oak, almonds, hazelnut and yeast lees. The palate continues to impress with plenty of weight and a creamy texture. Flavours of biscuit, hazelnut, almonds and cashew over a toasted oak background. Clean acid finish with long aftertaste of toasted oak, yeast lees, aniseed and butterscotch.
