2002 Karri Grove Estate Sauvignon Blanc Semillon

A fresh aromatic nose. Pale, waterlike colour, indicative of a very young wine. The nose displays notes of gooseberry and spice, followed by notes of tropical fruit and ripe passionfruit. On the palate, the ripe gooseberry flavours are dominant, with a touch of aniseed in the background. Crisp acidity, perfectly balanced, followed by a long spicy herbaceous aftertaste.
