2002 John Russell Wines St Vincent Shiraz

The Shiraz was sourced from John Russell’s St Vincent Vineyard at Krondorf. Opaque black crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Perfumed nose of vanilla, spice, cedar and plum followed by a white pepper end note. Fine dry tannins backbone, with palate flavours of spice, cedar and vanilla emerging, followed by a liquorice end note. A wine of considerable power, with the dryish tannins remaining in balance and supporting the ripe fruit structure.
