2002 Heggies Chardonnay

An excellent example of Eden Valley Chardonnay but available in very limited quantities. Brilliant deep straw, pale gold colour with delicate green hue. The nose displays excellent barrel ferment character, with flavours of spice, butterscotch, yeast lees and melon. Mouthfilling palate flavours with distinct spicy toasted oak, followed by hazelnut, biscuit and cashew back palate flavours. Creamy texture. Clean dry finish with aftertaste of hazelnut, butterscotch, biscuit and spice.
