2002 Gapsted Barbera

A medium bodied wine. Crimson colour with mauve hue. Aroma of confectionary and spice, followed by a touch of violets and old leather. The palate is a little hollow, with spice and confectionary flavours emerging. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of plum, stewed fruit and white pepper.
