A very impressive Red. Totally opaque black with deep crimson hue. Pronounced nose of liquorice, dark chocolate, spice and vanilla. The palate reveals those classic ‘joosy’ McLaren Vale flavours. Full bodied, with flavours of plum, vanilla, liquorice and dark chocolate emerging. Fine dry, chalky tannins. Long aftertaste of liquorice, mocha, dark chocolate and spice.
