2002 Fire Block Old Block Grenache

This vineyard was planted in 1926 and is run on a dryland basis with no systemic sprays or fertilizers being used. Very deep crimson colour with deep ruby crimson hue. Aroma of liquorice allsorts, spice and raspberry. On the palate, flavours of raspberry and plum emerge followed by a hint of sour cherry on the back palate. Chalky tannins. Aftertaste of plum, cherry and raspberry.
