2002 Edradour 14 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Highlands, SCOTLAND
$165. 00
Bottle
$1980.00 Dozen
Reminiscent of middle aged Glendronach or Glengoyne. The longer you leave it in the glass the better it gets.

Reportedly matured in a single Spanish Oloroso sherry cask, the dark hue of this whisky anticipates richness and depth. Distilled in 2002 and bottled in 2017.

Note: cask number and proof may vary.

Tasting note: [Cask No.1413 tasted] Brilliant copper / topaz colour. Shows ‘breed’ - the kind of sherry nose you associate with older bottlings; Nutty, dry and peppery with developing orange peel freshness. 4-5 minutes finds dried fruits (dates / prunes) dark chocolate and a touch of cigar box. Delicately bittersweet through the middle stage, the sugars ramp up at the finish with a surge of zest and dark chocolate. Excellent persistence. Reminiscent of middle aged Glendronach or Glengoyne. The longer you leave it in the glass the better it gets. Sherry heads, put this on your short list! 54.3% Alc./Vol. 693 bottles.
