2002 Diamond Valley Vineyard Blue Label Pinot Noir

A Pinot with considerable aging potential. Deep crimson brick red colour with brick red hue. Aroma of earth, game and strawberry. The palate is impressive with its balance of fruit and tannins, displaying a good power wave. Flavours of strawberry, violet infusions and cherry emerge and continue to build. There is a touch of stalk evident, with fine grained dry but balanced tannins which should integrate with the fruit over time. The aftertaste continues to linger, delivering a long spice, cherry and strawberry aftertaste.
