2002 Cloudy Bay Pinot Noir

“A very stylish, velvet smooth Pinot.”

Translucent deep crimson colour with mauve hue. Superb sniffing with notes of charry oak, black cherries, spice and violets, filling the nose. The palate has weight, with flavours of spice and dark cherry over a strawberry and toasted oak background. Excellent length. Fine grained, velvet smooth tannins, followed by a very long spice, ripe strawberry, toasted oak and cherry aftertaste. A wine of strong varietal character.
