2002 Clifford Bay Chardonnay

A light, obvious style, with little complexity. Bright straw colour. Subtle aroma of toast, yeast lees, honey and butterscotch. The palate flavours are relatively light, with butterscotch, honey, toast, melon, spice and peach emerging. Soft acid finish. Light butterscotch aftertaste.
