2002 Ceccanti Kiewa Valley Shiraz

This wine has a serious problem with volatile acidity. Opaque black purple colour with crimson hue. Volatile acidic top note followed by sour plums. The influence of VA continues through the palate destroying the ripe plum fruit flavours. The structure is short with some vegetal characteristics also evident. If you have a bottle, cellar 2-3 years otherwise pass up on the opportunity to buy.
