2002 Cassegrain Reserve Semillon

Bright green gold colour with pale gold hue. Top note of honey, followed by nuances of dry straw, hay and honeycomb. The palate has a very high level of acidity dominated by strong lemon flavours over a background of hay. Crisp lemon aftertaste and back palate. Aftertaste of light honey and toast. An austere style.
