2002 Capel Vale Cabernet Sauvignon

A small percentage of Merlot has been added to this wine. Very deep brick red colour with brick red hue. The nose reveals the worst aspects of cool climate Cabernet – aromas of tea leaf and green olives over a vegetal end note. The palate continues to deliver vegetal flavour characteristics, with again the tea leaf emerging over a herbaceous vegetal palate. Fine dry tannins. Vegetal aftertaste.
