2002 Beelgara Estate 15:02 Black Shiraz

The fruit for the wine was grown at Beelbangera, NSW. Opaque black crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of vanilla, plum, blackberry, spice and liquorice. The palate is full bodied but lacks complexity of flavour. Flavours of blood plum are followed by hints of spearmint, vanilla, spice and liquorice. Moderate palate length. Fine grained tannins. Long aftertaste of stewed fruit, spice and blood plum.
