2002 Barratt Chardonnay

This wine has been the product of a cool, wet winter and a windy summer. Bright gold colour showing bottle age. Aroma of toast, honey and yeast lees followed by roast almond – the secondary notes are dominant. There is a touch of citrus evident on the palate, with overlays of honey and yeast lees. The acidity is falling off. Aftertaste of toast, honey and lees.
