2002 Barossa Ridge Bamboo Creek Merlot

The fruit in this wine is rapidly disappearing. Brick red colour with brick red / brown hue. Aroma of leather and earth followed by an old leather, cedar end note. The fruit on the palate has faded, with flavours of earth and cedar emerging followed by dry tannins which run well into the aftertaste. Cedar, earth and spice aftertaste.
