2002 Balnaves Coonawarra The Blend

Made from a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Brick red colour with brick red hue. Medium body. The nose, like the colour, is showing bottle development with aromas of old leather and stewed fruit. The palate is drying out. Flavours of cedar and cigar box over a leather background. Fine, dry and chalky tannins which persist well into the aftertaste.
