A fine soft red. Deep crimson mauve colour with mauve hue. The nose displays good varietal character with aroma of spice and strawberry followed by a hint of game. The palate also displays a strawberry characteristic followed by flavours of spice, cherry and subtle toasted oak. Very soft tannins. Aftertaste of oak, spice and strawberry.
