2002 Angove's Red Belly Black Shiraz

The grapes for this wine have been grown in the Riverland, Wrattonbully and Padthaway. The dominant feature of this regional combination seems to be a firmness of tannins which is too assertive for the fruit. Very deep crimson mauve purple colour with deep mauve hue. Aroma of spice, plum and stewed fruit. Simple palate profile of stewed fruit which continues into the aftertaste.
