2002 Aldgate Ridge Pinot Noir

Produced from vines planted in 1992. Bright, crimson brick red colour with deep brick red hue. The nose reveals a hint of game and truffle, followed by notes of cherry and strawberry jam showing good varietal character. The palate reveals flavours of spice, black cherry, anise and strawberry, followed by a hint of cedar. Fine grained chalky tannins. Moderate power wave with very long aftertaste of cherry, spice and cedar.
