2001 Yangarra Park Chardonnay

Bright golden colour, showing oxidative handling. Aroma of biscuit, hazelnut, butterscotch, yeast lees and toasted oak. The palate has excellent weight, with plenty of yeast lees, almond, cashew and biscuit flavours followed by a layer of ripe fig in the background. Excellent length, followed by a very long almond, cashew, biscuit lees aftertaste.

A generous, fruit filled Chardonnay. Bright pale gold colour. Aroma of peach, melon and tropical fruit, followed by a hint of ripe pear. The palate has good weight with a creamy texture. Flavours of citrus, melon and butterscotch. Very good length with citrus and melon aftertaste.
