Medium body, vibrant mauve purple colour, indicative of youth. The nose is a touch restrained, with notes of liquorice, cherry and truffle aroma. The palate displays moderate length with inky, spice and berry flavours. Fine, firmish tannins, followed by lingering aftertaste of inky berry and spice. A light quaffer. Cellar 1-2 years (2002-2003)
