2001 Wynns Coonawarra Estate Shiraz

This wines offers exceptional value!color> Very deep crimson black colour with deep crimson hue. Excellent nose with aroma of vanilla, plum and spice followed by a black pepper end note. The palate flavours are still youthful with plenty of primary fruit flavours. Good weight and concentration of flavour with spice, black pepper, blackberry and liquorice emerging. Fine grained, but dry tannins, perfectly balanced to the fruit, followed by a very long spice, liquorice and blackberry aftertaste with persistent dry tannins.
Cellar 3-4 years. (2005-2006)
