Since its first release in 1954, the Wynns Black Label Cabernet has consistently delivered good to outstanding Cabernets at an everyday drinking price. Produced from only the top 20-25% of the estates fruit, the 2001 vintage continues that tradition.

An outstanding Wynns Black Label. The wine was aged in a combination of new and old American and French oak for 14 months. Opaque black deep crimson mauve colour. Superb nose – lifted notes of violets, blackcurrants and cassis, showing wonderfully ripe Cabernet fruit. The palate is equally impressive and would be the envy of many Bordeaux producers. It exhibits elegance and finesse whilst delivering superb ripe blackcurrant flavours overlaid by violet infusions. Mouth filling flavours of dark chocolate, spice and black pepper. Fine dry tannins, perfectly balance followed by exceptionally long aftertaste of dark chocolate, violet infusions, blackcurrant and cedar.
