Notes sourced from Wolf Blass

This wine is a deep garnet in colour with light, purple hues. A soft palate of plum, cherry tones are balanced with a chocolaty oak. A full-bodied palate with exceptional depth of fruit and supporting oak in a soft, lingering finish.

Cellaring: Ready to be enjoyed now, this wine will continue to reward of the next 3-5 years.

Vituculture: The fruit for this wine was sourced from three premium regions in South Australia, namely McLaren Vale, Barossa Valley and Langhorne Creek. The 2000 vintage in South Australia produced very good quality fruit. Merlot yields were again below average in volume but quality was very good.
