Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of vanilla and spice followed by a hint of confectionary, dark chocolate, spice and ripe plum. The palate has monumental weight but without the length and complexity of previous vintages of this wine. Flavours of mocca, coffee, plum and dark chocolate emerge over a slightly tarry back palate which remains very spicy. Long aftertaste of mocca, plum, spice and dark chocolate.
