2001 Wedgetail Estate Pinot Noir

A Pinot with very good varietal character. Translucent crimson colour with mauve hue. The nose shows classic Pinot notes of cherry, strawberry and spice which are also evident on the palate followed by a trace of California Poppy. Moderate powerwave with fine grained tannins, excellent balance and long strawberry cherry spice aftertaste.
