2001 Warrabilla Reserve Durif

Very deep crimson brick red colour with crimson brick red hue. Top note of dark cherry, followed by leather, spice, truffle and just a hint of earth and liquorice. The palate displays flavours of ripe black cherry and vanilla followed by an unusual touch of green tea. Very fine, velvet tannins. The wine is at its peak. Aftertaste of prunes, blackberry, plum and smoked liquorice.

Dense, opaque red-purple; an opulent, deep, dark berry and bitter chocolate bouquet is followed by a tremendously concentrated and chewy, yet not tannic, palate. Here blackberry, chocolate, licorice and subtle French oak all coalesce.
